Corona virus vaccines will be offered at sites across Bury.
You will be contacted regarding your appointment according to your age and pre-existing conditions.
Healthcare workers are also being vaccinated.
Please be patient with us as we have been asked to adhere to national guidelines.
Patients who require home visits for their vaccinations will be contacted when the service becomes available.
You may soon be receiving text messages and letters that will allow you to book into local clinics without having to contact the surgery directly. Please wait until you receive the letter that will follow the text message, as the letter will include your NHS number, which will be needed to complete your booking.
We are also continuing with Flu clinics, so if you are Over 65 years old, have a chronic disease, have a learning disability, are a healthy 50-64 year old, please call the surgery and make an appointment.

The staff at the practice would also like to say a huge thank you to all the patients for their support and kind words towards the team during this difficult period, the cards, cakes, flowers and the beautiful NHS rainbow drawings on the path to the surgery put a huge smile on all the staff faces, and a big thank you to the lady who donated the face shields/visors for the clinicians, all your support is greatly appreciated.

Symptoms of coronavirus
The symptoms of coronavirus are:
- a cough
- a high temperature
- shortness of breath
But these symptoms do not necessarily mean you have the illness.
The symptoms are similar to other illnesses that are much more common, such as cold and flu.
Extended Working Hours
The service is available to any patient registered with a Bury GP and patients can book appointments through their own GP surgeries.
The pioneering move has been introduced as part of a pilot scheme being delivered by Bury GP Federation to improve access to local GP services in the borough.
This means that patients can book GP appointments between 6.30pm-8pm on weekdays and 8am-6pm at weekends.
The service venues are:
- Moorgate Primary Care Centre
- Radcliffe Primary Care Centre
- Fairfax Medical Centre
*The new service is a clinic based service only and home visits are not available*
Hours of Opening:
- Monday - Friday 6:30pm - 8pm
- Saturday/Sunday & Bank Holidays 8am-6pm
- Telephone the Practice in core hours only Monday-Friday
- Direct Booking with the service Saturday/Sunday and Bank Holidays via the GP Practice number.
- Online via the GP practice website.
To register for Patient On-line Services please fill in the on-line form here in order to receive an electronic letter to your registered email address (please ensure that you check your in-box and junk mail box regularly for the letter). Once you have received your letter simply follow the instructions on the 'How do I register for Patient Services' document. Remember there is no need to register more than once. Registering on-line will include access to on-line appointments.
