Dear Patients,

It is with great sadness to let our patients know that Dr. Saad Al-Dubbaisi has sadly passed away after being very poorly for a number of weeks.

Dr. Al-Dubbaisi was a much loved, compassionate and experienced GP.  He lived and worked in Bury, and was a popular and caring member of our General Practice community.  Dr. Al-Dubbaisi cared for generations of the same families at our Practice and he will be sorely missed by his work family and patients alike.

Our health and care staff are the people who put themselves on the front line every single day, and our thoughts and condolences are with his wife, children and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.

A book of condolence is available for patients to share their thoughts and memories in.  In light of social distancing, patients are kindly asked to email their words for us to add to the book to:

Kind regards

The team at Garden City Medical Centre

Before requesting an urgent appointment please decide whether your GP is the best person to see or whether an ambulance, visit to A&E or the walk in centre might be more appropriate.

Same Day Appointments: We have appointments to offer on the same day for patients whose problems cannot be dealt with over the telephone. These are available from 08:15 in the morning, otherwise you can access our online services.

Pre-Bookable Appointments: these are available 4 weeks in advance again you can book an appointment by telephoning the surgery or using the online service. N.B. nurses appointments are all pre-bookable but not available using online appointment system

Pre-Bookable Telephone Consultations: can be booked in advance. As the doctor will have to fit these calls around their surgery. You will only be told either the morning or afternoon and not given a precise time slot. Please ensure you give the right telephone number.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. Persistent failure to attend without just cause or notification may result in removal from the practice list.
