Share your feedback to shape future General Practice care

NHS Bury CCG is carefully considering the longer term plans for Garden City to ensure that the best decision for ongoing medical provision for patients is made.

It is important that this consideration involves you and is informed by your feedback.

Repeat Prescriptions

pill_bottlePrescriptions can be ordered daily. Please allow 48 hours for your prescription to be generated.

If you would like your prescription collected by the chemist please let the receptionist know and they will set your pharmacy preference on your medical record. Following this, each time you order your repeat prescription with the surgery, your order will be sent to the chemist of your choice.

Prescriptions may also be ordered by phone, fax, or in person by using the repeat-tear off slip or hand written request.

You can sign up for the online ordering system by speaking to a receptionist and filling out the necessary forms.

NB: Prescriptions are only taken over the telephone between 10:00 – 14:00. Except ever last Wednesday of each month from 13:00 - 15:30, due to  staff training.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
